Welcome to Year 2
with Mrs Westwood and Miss Boot
This is the final year of KS1, and we know during this time your children grow and develop so much. Over the course of year 2, we will encourage children to become independent learners and thinkers, inspiring curiosity and resilience, in preparation for their journey through KS2. We will ensure the basics of your child’s education are embedded, meaning that they can move forwards in their learning journey with solid foundations. We plan hands on lessons and outdoor learning, as well as class-based lessons to engage and support everyone.
